Outlaw Tough campaign

Outlaw Tough campaign David Amerson Womens Jersey kicks off NFC season
The Tri City Outlaws have dropped the bad boy image for the upcoming Northern Football Conference season.
Despite its brash, rough and tumble nickname, the local senior men’s football team is launching a season long fundraising campaign called Outlaw Tough as they kick off a second decade in the Ontario based NFC Saturday at Warrior Field in Waterloo against the Sault Ste.
"We want to set ourselves apart, kind of like the (OHL’s Andre Roberts Womens Jersey Kitchener) Rangers did for hockey, and make ourselves more well know in the community," said running back Sean Gaudon, who also serves on the team’s executive committee. "We want to do good and we want to help people out that’s what our goal is."
So starting Saturday against the Steelers, the Outlaws will donate a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold and the team’s share of the 50/50 raffle to charity during home games. The four causes include cancer research and awareness (Saturday), the Children’s Wish Foundation (June 8 against Sarnia), Autism Ontario (June 15 against Oakville) and the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign (July 6 against Ottawa).
The campaign seemed like a natural fit for Gaudon, a diehard Indianapolis Colts fan who got the idea from the Colts’ CHUCKSTRONG campaign, which benefits leukemia research. Chuck Pagano, the Colts head coach, was diagnosed with the disease during the 2012 NFL regular season.
"I was hoping we could do the same," Gaudon said. "But instead of just one Andre Roberts Limited Jersey local charity, I was hoping maybe we could reach out to more."
The idea of involving multiple recipients seems to resonate www.redskinsonlineprostore.com/WOMENS-DARRYL-SHARPTON-JERSEY.html with Gaudon’s teammates.
"For a lot of guys, it’s personal," Jeff Nosal, a former St David Celtic, said. "It’s a shift from the norm, but a shift in the right direction."
Meanwhile, the Outlaws will again see some change on the field with running back Mike Montoya not returning to the team and quarterback Bryan Rosekat hanging up his cleats in the offseason.
Notable returnees include Shawn Ashe, John Boonstra (2012 first team all star), Will Christey, Aron Froese, Josh Golding (2012 offensive lineman of the year), Chris Marshall, and Kris Kusch (2012 defensive player of the year).
That means Nosal, who spent time under centre when Rosekat was unavailable, will be back in the pocket full time.
"It’s great to be back in the driver’s seat," said Nosal, who was the team’s full time quarterback in 2010 and has played slotback and various defensive positions when he wasn’t under centre. "I like having that control over the game and control of the outcome."
The NFC will also see plenty David Amerson Elite Jersey of change with the league champion Toronto Titans taking a leave of absence for 2013. Some of those Titan holdovers, however, have shifted to the newly formed Durham Hawkeyes while the Montreal Transit has also been added to make the 60 year old senior men’s league a 10 team outfit.
"Personally, I like it," Nosal said. "It gives us more of presence out east and encouragement for more teams out there to join www.redskinsonlineprostore.com/WOMENS-TRACY-PORTER-JERSEY.html us. And like Ottawa (which joined the NFC in 2010), Montreal is a good football area, so it’s only going to add to the calibre of play."
